Big and bold but at the same time very sofisticated. Unique Oakville Zin fruit from a great producer with a very small production. Big jammy ripe fruit, hot and peppery, clove and spices, very well integrated and balanced with sweet and subtle tannis, long nice lingering finish.

You always hear about bottle to bottle variation but I never experienced it personally until now. I LOVED this when we had it two weeks ago. The fruit was incredibly reserved and it was medium bodied and delicious. Last night's experience was the opposite! Incredibly fruit forward and certainly jammy, almost too much. By the end of the bottle. It was still good but certainly disappointing considering how much I enjoyed the last bottle.

Just a really good wine. Unlike any other zin over ever has. Fruity on first taste and then dry and smooth. Maybe a new world merlot is a better comparison? Not event a scent of jammy from this guy. Can’t recommend enough. At $25 one of the best value wines out

Similar to review 3 yrs ago. Jammy. Reviews varied around the table, but could have palate fatigue after thanksgiving pinots.
