I had this wine upon release, at 10 years old and now at 20 years old. I have 1 more bottle which I plan on trying in 2028. The cork came out in 2 pieces. Light gold color. This had a fruity nose. The acidity in this wine has settled a little. On the palate this was rather tropical. 91 points.

Still quite youthful, with lots of creamy peach and more brightness than I would have expected from a 2003. Lots of substance, so there should be plenty of time in hand for this wine.

So delicious. Definitely had kerosine nose upon opening. Decanted for 1 1/2 hours. Delicious after 2+ hours. Acidity was nicely balanced. Wonderful now, a couple of more years left.
The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lychee, apricot, papaya and passion fruit. It tastes like papaya and pineapple. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Quite a bit of petrol. Ripe fruit, could've needed a bit more acidity, but still fairly refreshing. Seemed youthful despite the ripeness, which I appreciated. Feels a bit like a powered up Mosel, but that's also where I realise that I prefer the weightlessness of a good Mosel spatlese. Not bad at all though.

A shining light in a sea of roasted 03’s. Big and rich but also bright with great body. Paired beautifully with Peking duck. Delish!
