C: mixed fast and slow legs, very clear, pretty light golden, lotus white S: floral, pear, white wine, dirt, apple, not woody or grassy, more fruit than floral, lychee, oak/butter T: sweet, bright, acidic, tart, a little sweet, not too dry, medium-long finish, carmelized beef (?), sharper, sour even, more acidic that would have thought R: 4, 3, 4, 3.5, 3.5, 3, 3, 3.5

Medium straw. Opens a little closed. Flinty reduction. Hint of apricot and orange blossom. Fresh nose, chalky whetstone. Palate has richness on entry. Bright fruit & texture. Seemless. Mid weight. A refreshing example of Viognier. Doesn’t leave you overwhelmed or weary. Nice wine.

Pale gold. On the nose, fresh fruit, ranging from green to stone fruit. I'm not getting much I'd call floral. I do get a bit of butteriness. On the palate, it's quite high acid (more so than I expected for a viognier) and very dry, with a bit of creaminess.
It did pair well with a chickpea, chicken, and apricot tagine.

High acid wine with the barest hints of tropical fruit. Great for someone looking for a Sauv Blanc, but not what I'm looking for in a Viognier.

Reads a little sweet, rather than the nice acid I like.
