  • Surprisingly This bottle was excellent as precious experience was dissapointing. Completely matured very light red colour, but good taste full of raisin. No tan ins left

  • It took a while to develop some richness, but then it morphed into almost CA-zin like territory. I will have to admit to some disappointment here. Started with some bright acids and a rose-purity without a good body. As it picked up body and weight, it lost the clarity and desire - and this was kept at a good temperature. Still solid and did very well with dinner ( 5 day beef, risotto, braised endive) and cheeses. Cusped out at the modern edge of sfursat.

Rockss and Fruit

  • By Lyle Fass

(Conti Sertoli Salas Sforzato) Dried grape Nebbiolo. Pretty much made the exact same way Amarone is but with Nebbiolo. Nose of dried apricots, cherries, purple fruits and earth. Supple and extracted in the mouth with pruney flavors that are perfectly ripened. Great acids never make this seem heavy. Very stylish wine.
