Quite sweet and very ripe (slightly baked) dark fruit, licorice, and espresso. Flowing through is a strong slate/mineral characteristic. The finish is long. Powdery tannins.
Strong wet slate, gravel, and limestone character on the nose. A bit of tertiary aromas from aging.
A bit hot. Drink the 2017s and if you have more of these, cellar for another 2-4 years.
For me, 2017 is better. This one is a bit too ripe and hot for my taste. Could move up when it calms down.

Smoky with licorice and espresso overtones to go along with all the ripe fruit, the wine is medium-bodied, soft, silky, fresh and will be perfect to enjoy while waiting for the Grand Vin to mature. You can drink this young and over its first decade or so of life.

Nice, approachable Bordeaux that comes across soft and delicate more than brash and in-your-face.

Hold until 2025. Will be good. Not much fruit now, but there is a long, fresh finish evident after an hour.
