👃 Hibiscus, balsamico, mushrooms (truffles), soy and a hint of brett
👅 Light- to medium-bodied (ABV 13%), surprisingly grippy tannins, underripe wild strawberry and rose-hip on the palate and on the quite decent finish
👀 Pale ruby, brick-red towards the rim.
📝 After pulling the plastic cork my hopes for a great experience were dashed. But the wine defied that first impression. For an entry level wine it has aged rather beautifully. Medium intensity with original aromas.

This could easily pass for a young Barolo. Light in color but that’s the only light adjective to describe this wine. To me, one of the best values from a really really good vintage this wine highlights classic Nebbiolo flavors in an easy going style that requires little thought and big glasses.

From glass, I think a third-day glass. First Lombardian Nebbiolo. Pure tomato on the nose! And on the palate too: savory red tomato and and some light leathery astringency, all accented by bright red fruit. Really liked this lighter style a lot, and with slices of mortadella and salumi absolutely superb. Terrific, terrific "casual" rendition of this grape.

Light body, lightest Nebbiolo I have ever seen! High in acid and in fruit. Fairly low EtOH at 13%. I liked this wine, but don’t even try to compare it to its Piedmontese brothers and sisters, as they are different from each other, yet fine in their own right.

Quite aromatic with notes of cherry and rose. Very floral. Not much in the way of tar notes
Medium bodied
