Deep purple. Earthy nose. Full bodied, medium to heavy tannins, medium acidity. Dark berries on the front: blackberries and raspberries. Good amount of bite and good age. Oak and cocoa on the finish. Overall lush and creamy. Very tasty.

Color: Deep Purple Nose: Deep Violet, Earthy, and Herbaceous Taste: Fresh and Ripe BlackBerry on the start with a light Earthy Roundness with a solid tannic build and medium acidity; Very smooth and velvety Comp’s: Similar $75-100 wines; very young still but still well rounded; paired well with an exceptional wedding!

Still quite young and has great potential. Tasted the 2018 vintage fall of 2021. Can't wait to open a bottle in 5 years or so. Deep dark ruby color and quite viscus. Great nose with a slight spice and barry notes. Complex flavors of stawberry and black berry with a well rounded earthy quality. Well balanced tanins and fruit forwardness.

Barrel sample: Dark deep ruby purple color and in the glass, the viscosity appears to be thick coating on the sides of the glass. The nose is nice and on the palate, very young as one should expect for a 2018 Cabernet. The wine seems to have all of the stuffing and ingredients in the making for a solid Cabernet. Dark berry fruit and extraction that is a bit dry and acidic to this point. I will not score this wine now, but I certainly look forward to the next tasting, I'm sure that this wine is and will continue to develop on the right track.
