  Drank second day. Gassed first day, nearly full bottle. Dark purple in color. Some spice and red fruits on the nose, but it is more muted then the other two wines it was tasted with. This is fairly new world in style as well, with the dark fruits lunging forward on the front palatte. Tannins not to huge for such a full bodied wine. This is an excellent bottle of wine, but the castelgiocondo Riserva knocked it out of the park. After sitting a couple more hours, this wine is pretty remarkable. I find this amazing, since it was opened yesterday. The fruit is just exploding now, and its drinking great. I might bump this up to 93 or even 94. What a fantastic job frescobaldi has done with some of their wines.
