CB 58; Viognier 14; Clairette blanche 13; Sémillon 7; Roussanne 5; Marsanne 3. Plenty of ripe yellow and red apple, Bartlett peat, spice, tarragon and kumquat with a touch of wood smoke and a hint of papaya. Intense The entry shows a clear-cut mineral-edged acidity, broad palate structure, pear flesh texture and flavours of spiced pears. A lovely fleshiness in the mid-palate extends into the back palate. Full-bodied Chenin-based blend style with enough acidity to give a frame, well made and long. The back palate is just showing some development with a hint of honeycomb and smoke

Drank well and improved over 4 days. Probably I should keep my last bottles a bit longer to see where it goes, after the panic with the previous bottle that seemed to say "drink up".

ETA - I think it was slightly out of condition. A later bottle was fresher, and improved over 4 days.
Seems to have developed very fast since last year. Now quite gold coloured and with nutty flavours of maturing Rhone-type varieties. It isn't quite as thrilling as last year, but still went down very well indeed.
If this is real, rather than bottle variation, then I'd say it won't benefit from keeping any longer. I shall aim to drink another before too ong.

Sophisticated, concentrated and delicious. Mid straw coloured, still with some slight greenish glints. I chose to decant, which opened it out a touch as it was slighly dumb on pulling the cork. Layers of flavour, thick mouth-feel. Long lemon curd finish, but restrained and complex in comparison to a straight grenache blanc I drank recently (Foundry 2018).
About 50% chenin, the rest a Rhone blend. David & Nadia is the Sadie's affordable range, in contrast to the "price on application" wines branded Sadie Family. These are South African wine-making aristocracy, and even their "affordable" range is brilliant and sophisticated. Why would you buy white Burgundy when you can get this?

A delight to drink. Great nose Fresh vibrant white stone fruit, juicy acidity but we'll balanced so not trat or cloying. Lovely and fun.
