Medium plus nose shows blackberry, rock, black pepper, blood iron. Palate gives spice layers, dark fruits, showy but serious, alcohol med plus jumps out, acidity medium, tannins med plus, all that showing youth and framing the fruit, which does keep up. Finish is dry but fruit notes get through. Really nice stuff, but does need time I'd think.

ESTG does American Syrah (and Petite Sirah) (Seattle, WA, USA): DEEP, dark color, spicecake, Reminds me of SQN, obvious California, I again thought Central Coast. Dusty tannins.
