Full and mature nose. Dark cherry, cedar and oak. Smoke and black fruit. Tobacco and bell pepper. Some tar.
Medium-fullish palate. High tannins. Very structured palate. Black fruit, cedar, cherry, cigarre and tobacco. Forceful and mature.
Solid performance, but lacking some stuffing and concentration compared with the best.
Drink now.

Medium garnet colour. Medium (+) and developed nose with cooked black cherry, leather, tobacco, forest floor, balsamico, cinnamon and spices. Medium (+) taste of cooked black cherry, cooked strawberry, raisins, fig, leather, tobacco, jammed strawberry, balsamico and cinnamon. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Full body. A well matured Barolo that is about to peak, but has still some fruitiness left. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

Intense on the nose. Cherries, oak, spices, roses.
Concentrated in the mouth. Everything is very integrated with som nice dark fruit. Tannins are there but very mellow and smooth. Lingers in the mouth.

Very nice Barolo with some age. Fruit is a bit muted but very nice typical notes of tar, paint and mushrooms.
