My last bottle, and I did not heed my own previous note about giving this more time. And maybe that was for the best, as this bottle was beginning to show hints of oxidation at the edges. Aside from that, it was drinking well and in line with other recent notes.

Light hay in color, subtle but enticing nose, the palate is crisp, fresh, medium intensity fruit, hints of saline, lemon citrus, minerality. Has a lot of Chablis character, but uniquely not Chablis. Very youthful, quite delicious, a lovely, fresh white wine at this point, with years ahead of it.

Fresh, light yellow. Lemon, salt, ginger and candle wax. This drinks very young at 7+ years and I think it will improve. Needs a decant now. Excellent.
On second day it is even more clear how young this is. This is excellent wine with a long life ahead. Hold other bottles for at least 2-3 years or more.

The aromas are beginning to show some development here, with the citrus, honey, and floral qualities becoming more expressive. The palate has rounded out a bit as well, though it still has a bright acidic core. I still have not run into an oxidized bottle of the 2016, though I am tempting fate by writing that here, I'm sure. I'm rolling the dice on letting my final bottle rest in the cellar for a little longer still.
