A Trottertastic Saturday (Les 2 Garçons): A neat, crisp, classical wine, on the leaner side of Chardonnay and the tightest, least ripe wine in the flight; Australian wine has certainly moved on from the prior stereotype! Lemon and lime fruit, a touch of florality and a lovely piquant finish. I enjoyed this, and could see the class, but it was slightly overshadowed by the other two whites.

Bright straw. Really fine wine. Clean and fresh, loads of citrus, lemon and grapefruit. A real salt and limestone edge. Great mouthwatering intensity. Long. And drunk well over three nights so plenty life ahead too.
