An orphan half - bottle. On nose: toasted bread with sea salt and steely mineral note. On palate: all above flavours, with lemon zest, chalk, light smoke ....still young, may flesh out with some bottle age....great oyster wine with decent acidity, at present.

Leaning very (perhaps even overly) tropical. Pinepale, lemon zest, hints of Yuzu on the nose. Medium to light bodied on the palate, with tasty fruit but lacking in depth, structure and minerality. Being one of the largest (1er) Crus in Chablis, with a very diverse terroir, I never quite know what to expect from a Mont de Milieu, but this one still managed to catch me off guard with an atypical style.
Enjoyed it pre-dinner with some very stinky Reblochon and Membrillo and it paired decently. Overall it's an enjoyable wine for light drinking, but lacking the complexity and structure to reach 90-point territory.

I’ve enjoyed a half dozen of these; great Chablis character remains youthful and fresh. Great value at mid-$30s. 91+

I've had better for the price; the 1er cru fruit doesn't have the presence you'd hope for.
