Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Black fruit on nose and at front of palate yields to spice and red fruit on finish. The alcohol, whole certainly present, is not overpowering. A tannic mouthfeel lets its presence known but is not aggressive. More forceful and more complex than other Shenandoah cabernet franc varietals with which I am acquainted, and excellent - will be interested to read about vintage conditions.
