Deep ruby, garnet rim. Sharp black fruits, ink, chocolate, earth, raisins, beef tomatoes & tomato paste. Plummy fruit, soft spice & ink on the palate. Medium + acidity and soft integrated tannins. Very good but lacks the spicy bite which I so loved in the 2005. I have seen vintage differences in this wine and that is no bad thing...

(Alpha Estate Vertical in Pathos & Oinos) Decanted for 3 hours. Deep red color. Intense fruit, blue and black berries, dense but also smooth nose with bits of pepper. The roundness comes back in the mouth too, very soft and fruity, nice tannins, full, medium aftertaste. It will be great for 3 to 5 more years.
