Intriguing Greek blend. Blind tasted at dinner for 4. On nose:meaty aromas , oak and the densest darkest mix of blackberries , blueberries and bitter chocolate . On palate:ALL of the above components in addition to still firm tannins , high alcohol and charcoal undercurrents ...as it warmed up elements of cinnamon as well as blood and iron emerged . So many references tasted blind! And NO ONE guessed it as Greek. From Mas de daumas Gassac to Northern Rhone ( off base in my opinion)to " a tart , austere Amarone " from another taster.....this powerful wine was an enigma....not my cup of tea exactly ....but a singular and well made wine.....good with Duck , Venison or Prime rib....not for the faint of heart.

Deeply colored red showing no sign of age. Spicy, white pepper and garigue aromas. Creamy entry. Garigue and dark forest berry flavors. Very interesting and good. I would have guessed southern Rhone blind. 89

Concentrated, yet soft and delicious. This still has a few years left in it

somewhat unusual in spicy flavors but quite good with beef stew. We weren't able to identify dark fruits that are well knitted.
