Peach, blossom, mandarin orange, Meyer lemon, apricot, over-ripe pineapple, hay, butter, and subtle clove, crushed granite and salinity. Light phenolic texture. Deep golden-apricot color, bright and clear. Full body with unctuous texture that is both lively and round with a light clean finish due to the medium-plus acid. 100% Mantonico, it appears.

Librandi Trade Tasting (Fairmont Singapore - Prego): Has a bit of depth in the lemon colours, and does have a thickness on the legs. Could sense some restraint on the nose, a slight hay and barnyardy aroma, slightly herbal, and bits of caramel especially after some breath. Hints if ripe pineapple flavour while I got more of the sweet oak, vanilla and clove spices, and some fresh raw almond towards the back. Understood that half of the batch got aged in new oak for 6 months and hence the apparent strength, but I’d still consider this a simple one. Better as a food wine
