Margaret River’s founding wine estate. Bend of 82% CS, 17% Malbec and 1% PV, aged for 19 months in FR oak, 61% new. Quite restrained aroma at first, but after 3 hours it blossoms with notes of blackberries, licorice, plums, black olives, spices, cassis, black currant leaves, vanilla. Full body, elegant and velvety with spicy edges, medium+ intensity smoky, meaty and peppery black fruit flavours with leafy hints, high fresh acidity and fine medium tannins.

Tom Cullity 2017 was shy to begin with, a lot of paprika/green notes at the beginning. After 2-3 in the decanter, it finishes brilliantly. Great minerality more reminiscent of Bordeaux, so well done, black currants and a delicious balance between acidity and tannins. There is something certain about Margaret River. Hold for at least 2 - 3 years.

Delightfully refined blend of Cabernet, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Plum, bright cherry, black olive, jalapeño with pleasant minerality. The natural juiciness of the Malbec shines through to round it out and provide lift.
