Best Viognier I’ve ever had. Clear golden color (not sure why Jeb Dunnuck said unfiltered/cloudy, my glass is perfectly clear). Classic apricot nose plus floral tones. Flavors of white apricot with some mineral and slight oak. Great balance. You can tell this is a “Rocks” viognier. 30 second plus finish. I love this wine, but last bottle.

So freaking good. Smoky, showing more overt oak. Rich almost creamy texture. So Viognier. Apricot, mineral, savory, oily, sharp, peppery. Not at all sweet. Really impressive wine.

CT Offsite: Day 1 Tasting: Seems quite smoky and oaky on the nose. The palate is lovely, glyceral, spicy, faintly bitter stonefruit, hint of kerosene, nice acidity for such a big wine.

My first trip to Walla Walla; 5/12/2022-5/14/2022 (Walla Walla, Washington): Classic aromatics, fireworks, 100% new French oak, amazing that the wine easily handles the oak, really lovely.
