  • A maker i have always enjoyed. Not in the class of other great Chablis but given this was nearly 20 years old and made in a period of worrisome early oxidation of some wines, we had no fears with this one and Screwcap helped. if only the french would get on this bandwagon a lot earlier i would not have to open expensive bottles of White Burg and Chablis to find them oxidized far too often. anyway this was lovely. Some lemon, tropical fruit, lovely acid cut running through it, a little flinty, perfect with Vintners scallops . just good stuff and ready to enjoy and if you can find it at auction its not silly money. Make sure its screwcap.

  • Full, lovely minerally nose. Fully ready. Oystershell, modelling clay and elegance. Maybe lacking the third layer for greatness.
Medium body. Elegant and sublime. Very good grip and intensity. Loads of minerality. Perfect balance between developed yellow fruit, Earth and oyster minerality. Very long. Delicious and à point.

  • Very mineraly and linear. Great finish with perfect acidity. quite a golden hue. Would have expected a more pronounced nose.
