Medium-dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruits of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, spices, dark cocoa notes with a touch of vanilla & oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, mulberries & plums with spices, cocoa, dried herbs, minerals, some vanilla & toasty oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing, but will benefit from & develop further from additional aging. A blend of 62% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon & 3% Malbec. A wonderful & supple red blend well worth seeking out.

Not bad. I like the merlot heavy fruits and mouthfeel but G did not. Ok with chicken dinner.

Pretty good wine. Excellent QPR. Smooth, berries, unwinds after opening. I like it.

Big nose of fruit, stewed strawberries and dark chocolate. Full body, bold presentation with finish of chocolate and fresh tobacco leaf.
