Lemon coloured, low(+) intensity. Developed, medium intensity nose, fresh with yellow apples, pineapple. On the palate dry, high acidity, medium body. 13,5%. Medium length. Thick texture. Midpalate dominated by acidity, crescendo, ending in a burning afterfeel.

Expected more acidity, but I’d call this medium. Blind, I’d have called it an unpacked chardonnay from California. It’s good, but lacking the complexity that would otherwise push this into the 90pt territory. I’d happily order off a BTG menu at a restaurant, but would probably skip rebuying it for other wines at home.

Pale straw colored with medium intensity aromas of tangerine, pear, yellow apple and persimmon. The palate is dry with high acidity and medium (+) body. The flavors I get are very interesting- mandarin oranges, soft pear, yellow apple and passion fruit. There is a medium length finish that turns a bit bitter, like almond seed. I like the fact that is is labelled as an unwooded wine, allowing the purity and character of the varietal to shine. For $15 this 89 point wine gets 4 stars from me. I'm at the beach so a seafood pairing is obvious.
