Restaurant pour. Typical Zin upfront brambly blackberry crumble tastes, with a nice smoky finish. The Zin sweet spot is there but it is not cloying. In its price range, you could do a lot worse. I was surprised how much I liked this. Score: 87. Relative to expectations: ++

A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with blackberry, black cherry, licorice and spices on finish, a good QPR. www.winelx.com

This wine delivers a good bit above its price with some dark fruit notes and brambly spice. For $12 hard to be beat for an entry level Pnp Zin.
