This wine disappointed me for a premiere cru I found it unbalanced and lacking depth, complexity and length. Aromas were pleasant but it didn’t have the structure or acidity I would expect for something at this price point. Scoring it low based on QPR.

Restaurant purchase. Vince has this right. Beautiful aromatics: lifted, sweet cherry, raspberry, cherry liquor, sandalwood. Palate: stemmy, sour, some cherry fruit. Tart, bitter on the finish. Maybe settles in with more age. All hat, bitter cattle.
Sharply acidic on the palate; the fruit comes through as underripe and tart. The structure is okay, and the tannins are fine, if not a bit chalky. The finish is frankly not that great: it devolves into this kind of sour oak/vanilla thing in the back of your mouth that’s not very pleasant. I would pass on this at this price point.

Good qpr especially for burgundy. Round and sweet nose, cherries and some other red fruit, vanilla and a nice sweetness. Velvet medium finish. Not overly complex.

More earthy notes than fruit on the nose. Soft tannins. Medium finish. Gets better after being opened for about an hour.
