  Polished and elegant understated nose bringing together spiced cherries, violet, tar and underbrush extending to darker but subtle animal notes. The palate is fresh and juicy with a good tension, and consistent with the unobvious aroma profile. Reasonably complex too and it makes you want look for extra layers hiding subtly in the background. A style that I like. Rebuy: yes.
