PNP into Grassl Liberte glass (“No” day): Pale straw golden to the eyes.
Petite sweet florals infused stone fruits like apricots. Yeasty in the nicest way possible with hints of petrol that is already evident at this early stage.
High acidity, medium sweet in good balance and just a delightful, precise yet hedonistic wine here. Well-integrated minerality driven finish.
Hard to put this under 94 points and even harder to not keep pouring myself another glass of this.

Previous review is a good one: this is a very decent wine for the price and the genre but it’s a bit on the simple side. Currently has a light straw yellow color, with minimal viscosity - typical of a Kabinett. The nose is a bit sharp in that it’s all honey and candied lemon on the initial approach. An above average level of acidity plays off the minerality on the finish to give it a reasonable length. Drank over two days, it faded a bit with some of the acidity coming to the forefront but nothing hugely negative. At 8.5% listed alcohol, it’s not overly complex but a nice intro to this producer and I’m looking forward to trying some of their higher end offerings.

This needs time to blossom, although it has a certain appeal already. Very lean, in the W-K style, with almost-cidery green apple, bitter herbs and an austere stoniness, especially on the finish. There is a trace of warmth on the nose, showing itself as honey and marzipan (especially towards the end of the bottle), but the overall impression is the mouthwatering acidity and mineral finish.

A classic modern Riesling with tart fruit, plenty of organics and balanced minerality. A beautiful wine. I suspect it will age well.
