Toasty, oxidized nose. Big mouthful of zesty developing yellow fruit. Great acidity and barely detectable sweetness. Yum. Still tasty on day 2 but not quite at the same level. Maybe this vintage is one to drink on the younger side, although I tend to find Lahaye unusually approachable at all ages.

Elegant and delicious. Harmonious notes of bright apple, cirtus zest, chalk and brioche. Felt a little muted on the palate, but began to reveal itself over time in the glass, suggesting benefit from more air time.

Disgorged 11/21. Quite young and tense still. Opens up with some air, but I think better to revisit in 2+ years. Balance and intensity is there.
