  {screwcap, 13.8%} Garnet with slightly fading rim, in line with age. Developing nose, mix of oak and meat. Pastrami! Burnished dry strawberries, drying low/medium powdery oaky tannins, browning leaves, hints of compost, tobacco, earthiness. Verging on sweet in some ways, although it’s obviously a dry wine. Medium/full weight, reasonably even palate, decent complexity but not really impressive. Beginning to dry out in the glass a bit too; at maturity in my view.
