A blend of seven? grape varieties, lovely ruby colour nose of red fruits cherries and plums fairly full mouthful and if you try hard enough with all those grapes in the mix you can find almost anything, well integrated and good acidity. Considering the time spent in wood and then in bottle before release this is a bargain, easy to like and drink VFM.

Medium ruby in colour, but beginning to turn garnet. On the nose a medium + intensity with aromas of blackberry, black plum, black currant and overwhelming smoke, cedar, charred wood, coconut from the oak and hints of leather, forest floor and tobacco. On the palate it is dry, medium + acid, med + body, med + tannings, and medium plus intensity on the palate, although the fruit is much more prominent than on the nose, with red fruits coming out significantly. The finish is medium + although after the fruit disappears you're left with a little green flavours. Can easily last another 10 years.

Drank with Lisa and Christine Kroemer in the restaurant "Alter Hof" in Wallau. Lisa's invitation. From memory; Pleasant and round, good mouthfeel; everybody at the table liked it.

Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #3 vor 2021 (Bólstaðarhlíð 29): Bláber, blóm, aðallega fjólur í ilmi. Einnig kjallaralykt. Frekar dökkir tónar í ilmi. Þægilegt á tungu. Ferskt með myntutónum. Þarna kemur líka fram eik og brenndir tónar. Virkilega flott vín, alltaf.
