Three hour double decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Dr. Pepper, black cherry, potting soil, vanilla wafer, and sage. Dry and slightly cottony palate. Plush, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This is young, but really great. My notes don’t do it justice. My friend Don brought this to a dinner party and the whole group were impressed. Youth is the only flaw.

Decanted for 2 hours and drank over a 3 hour dinner. This wine was so extremely soft it was almost fuzzy. Like a blanket that was just a bit too warm but you still don't want to remove it. I was so surprised that this texture was possible, as I'm very new with wine. Some yogurt flavor on the nose, due to how young it is I'm guessing. Dark red, purplish color. Definitely some cassis on the nose, slight chocolate. Palate was round, even though tannic and young, the tannins were soft and luscious. Blueberries and some earthiness. Oaky cedar smells at the end.

No formal notes. Good stuffing, but so young, will be great in 10+ years.

Decanted for 4 hours, but still tight. Will wait 4 or 5 years before trying the next one. Great balance was the overall impression.
