Medium lemon color. Medium intense aromas of pear, apple, petrol, rubber, apricot, and wet leaves. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium light body, and medium finish. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, and stone.

13.5% alcohol; screw top; fast legs, pale golden yellow; opened and kept in the fridge for 24 hours before tasting, at approximately 12 degrees C; nose of alcohol, white grape juice, pears, kiwi; full bodied, tannins are prominent but balanced in part by fruitiness, tangy-ness, and sweetness; buttery effects from malolactic secondary fermentation are not prominent; notes of stone fruit, especially plums, even dates; medium finish; pair with cheeses -- hors-d'oeuvres or dessert, or with afternoon torte; well worth its modest price

This actually isn’t bad. It’s a bit too sweet for me, but it’s clearly better in my world, than the traditional KJ chard. This has big Apple and pear notes for me on both the nose and palate. It’s got a big flavor profile. I bet it’s better with food.
