Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • From 75cl, DIAM10 closure. Quick decant, no sediment. Grenache-led CdR with an appealing touch of stern, acidic Northern Rhône Syrah blackberry. Good concentration (the vielles vignes advertised on the rear label talking) but competent, fine, well-done rather than exciting. Compared to the same producer's 2018 or 2019 Guy Louis CdR blanc this seems to be the junior partner. Better things may possibly come by +-2025, but I'm not holding my breath. 88-89P
