  Very nice but not spectacular - completely resolved, still quite rich and full of fruit, heady and brambly. Some tasty spice on the finish.

  Very well balanced wine, consumed with roasted lamb. Fruit is a bit behind the body, but this could be lack of time breathing before drinking.

  C'est très très bon ! Ma dernière 2013, dommage mais je note pour mes 2015 et 2016 que millésime + 6 ans = pas pire pen toutes !

  14% alcohol. Cork of good density and average length; no wine penetration. The colour is fairly deep with no sign of evolution.
  The nose is both generous and vivid with ripe berries and some garrigue. The mouth is in the same vein with excellent acidity in the finish to balance the richness of the brew. There is a welcome bite in this wine.
  This might be the best vintage of Guy Louis that I experienced; nothing "modern" about this bottle. Very satisfying with "entrecôte" and mushrooms.
  A repeat purchase possibly.
