Method: pop and pour; white (but not Burg) glass); around cellar temp; great cork and fill
Look: medium+ gold
Nose: golden apple, butter, salted butter
Palate: golden apple, lemon; lemon pith, slight walnut; long finish of white pepper, bay laurel, salt, minerality; dry; medium body with some glycerol feel; high- acidity; low- tannin
Overall thought: Great wine in a great place. Very well balanced with great structure. Really nice complexity and really love the salinity popping up in this CA terroir. This has the ability to age longer. Great wine!

Toast, nut, honey, savoury, pretty acidity, perfect balance. Not very expressive on the nose, even a little muted, maybe opened for a little while; but the palate is really impressive. The intensity is great and finish is lingering. Absolutely love this wine. Would rate it even high if the nose is coming out more. 93+

With Papperdelle Urbni White Truffle/Porcini Chicken..... Still alive and not oxed... Meyer lemon, smoke, light butter, butterscotch. At moments apple cider hints and mild Pineapple/rubbing alcohol peaking in and out. Showing it’s age but what a performance! Score 90-93 range

Can't believe it's been almost 10yrs since THE killer deal on these, as well as the 2002 for me, from BP WINE...$21, direct from the winery! Multiple cases consumed...most bottles were outstanding, some oxed. Just have a couple bottle left of both vintages...sadly this 1999 has succumb to its apple juice oxed death. Not to waste though as the wife needed a cooking wine anyway!

Rich lemon, almond and nuts; rich, good acid, slightly oxidized, but interesting and enjoyable.
