375 ml at Water Bar - served too cold , of course. After slow and time to warm up it revealed an acidic slightly hot chard that was less than I was anticipating from such a fine producer. Fruit was faint and the wine was unbalanced in the bottle I drank. Hope to try another from a 750, in the future. May level out with time but not sure.

crisp and delicious then left for 2 days uncorked in the fridge and did not skip a beat though a little more integrated and soft so some years of life left

Very pale gold color. Nose is lychee, pineapple, white peach, pear, wet stone. The palate is medium bodied, with fruit forward peach, orchard fruit, hint of citrus, hint of oak on the finish. In comparison with 2019 Brocard Chablis, the Brocard is a bit more refined and elegant, while the Mayacamas is more fruity and powerful. Both very good.

Aromas of pineapple and lemon custard. On the palate, citrus fruit, acidity, and lift. The finish has length with lingering acidity. 2019 was the best vintage in recent memory with higher alcohol and more depth. This is more similar to the 2020 vintage. It could benefit from another year or two in the cellar.

Steely and bright, with notes of lemon, Bartlett pear and Jonathan apple leading the way. Minerality builds, and a slight herbal note adds complexity.
