Nice straw color. Noticed some tartaric acid crystals which leads me to believe the wine was acidified. Nose is mostly floral and spice. Some wax on the palate. Pleasant enough but I'd drink this sooner than later, i.e. over the next year.

WWC - JD (FWC): Tasted blind - light straw in the glass, with some apple on the nose. Could also smell some oak influence. A slight grassy note on the nose and palate. I guessed either a viognier based Rhone white, or a CA sauvignon blanc.

Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of peaches, melon & citrus notes of lemons/limes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle & minerals, honey, stony & lovely exotic spice notes in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, melons & stone fruits with minerals, honey & a hint of spices. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing although it will continue developing with additional aging. A special "thanks" to Dr. Tom for the opportunity to sample this wonderful & interesting wine.
