Nose showed lots of purple flowers, especially lavender, with a little barnyard funk (in a good Cabernet Franc kind of way) and lots of red fruit and spice with a hint of earthiness.
Palate shows lots of structure (I am really loving the 2018 vintage), and agree with Decanting Queen's notes, except I didn't get quite the green notes she described, but did get some additional notes of earth and new leather and a hint of tobacco. Excellent now, but as DQ stated, will get even better. I would rate this 96 if drinking now, but should add additional complexity and points with some cellar time (7-10 years).

Drank this as part of the Decanter at Home tasting series. This has to be the most approachable set of 2018’s I have ever tasted. Clearly very young and many years (decades) to hit their potential, but this is surprisingly drinkable now. Too young to rate but this will be truly excellent, maybe perfect.
This 82% Cab Franc blend was my favorite of the ‘18’s. Sweet red fruit on the nose, floral and a bit of earthy mineral. Red fruits, savory and spice on the palate and a subtle greenery like fresh cut grass or the tops of strawberries. Tannins were incredibly smooth and this whole wine was in balance and well integrated with a forever finish.
