  92 on 2nd night, but only 87 on the first night. This 2019 needs decanting at least 3 hours, I'd say.
  
  Bought The Wine Soc' UK £21.50 2021
  
  First night decanted just 30 minutes. Kitchen room temp'
  Screw cap. 13% alc.
  N...fresh oak, zilch else.
  C...very light body, light cherry colour, pale edge.
  T....juicy mouth-feel; a 'fun' breezy red; the alc possibly out of balance, seems too warm; a couple of spices; gentle tannins; sour cherries; near-ripe red fruit; a hint of earthy character; Dry in style; lacks charm, a touch astringent; a saline impression.
  VFM?...doesn't feel worth it's £21.50
  
  2nd Night.
  Wow, what 24 hrs set aside then 2 hrs in a decanter will do.
  And a Riedel Pinot glass!
  T....much softer, more open; shedloads more charm, longer flavours, less crunchy and juicy simplicity; more spice, some emerging forest floor; summer herbals; acid balances this better fruit; a more complete wine, ends medium-dry.
  N...hadn't improved to the degree Taste did.
  
  VFM....based on the 2nd night only, worth every penny of £21.50, felt worth £25+. Decant and swirl! Wow, a 5 point margin.

  Ripe cherry and spice. Medium body. Burgundian style. Excellent vintage!
