Steely straw; classic nose but on the lighter side of intensity, Pellegrino-like minerality, slate and stone with a light punch of nectarine, peach, lime blossom, the nose shows steely and bare of any impediments; the palate is sleek and doesn’t throw off any excess of anything, lean light and dances on the palate but you feel the sinew on the midpalate, these grapes are born of slate and stone and are void of any extra fluff; very nice. 4 Days later this has opened up wonderfully, pineapple, yellow peach, creamy texture, everything that was quiet is now much more amplified, powerful acids keep everything focused and taut; really good, easy to underestimate if tasted only on first day, acids still searing- almost stronger after 4 days of being open, this is special stuff!

Tropical fruit, tangerine, lemon, elderflower, grass, slate/other minerals. Paired with a lightly charred perch tartare with sesame, soy, lemon, chives, chili mayo et. al.

For me the best part of the wine now is the nose. Silty, minerality and hints of fresh tropical fruit. Lovely palate with fruity sweetness. And a nice fresh fruity and sharp finish. Lovely!

Orange zest, lemon, tangerine, tart green apple meets sweet apple and peach, rocky minerality, smoke and hints of freshly cut herbs and perfume. Very nice Kabinett! For me, personally, this drinks well already.
