I agree with the two previous reviewers. Very easy drinking - a simple crowd pleaser with lots of spice, fruit, soft tannins and acidity. Still doing very well 3 years after those comments.

From a magnum: Idiotically easy to drink. Low acidity, not much tannin, medium body, not much overt fruitiness, but a hint of sweetness, and no jarring elements. At less than $10 per bottle, this is one of the better super-cheap wines that I've ever had.

Tilford Bach Festival (complete Brandenburgs with the London Handel Players). Minimal notes - the wine that is! From magnum. Interval red drunk outside in the churchyard. Fruity, fullish if a touch extractive and with a hint of earthy tannins. Whilst a crowd pleaser, the hottest day of the year probably did this wine no favours which is anyway more suited for food than on its own. For drinking young.
