100% Pinot Noir from the 2019 harvest, disgorged 1 October 2021 with zero dosoage.
Second time with a bottle from Clandestin and first time with the Boreal - last time was the Austral 2018.
Very much the same style as the Austral, and it's really a more vinous champagne while also having this slight natural touch to it, so I assume it's not for everyone, but if you like this style of champagne, then I think this is really great in this price range.
The dominating factor is the extreme freshness and energy while also having some of the best managed "zero dosage" acidity/dryness to it. Still a wonderful balance between this freshness and some more depth/complexity; red apple, lemon/lime juice, pickled lemon, lime zest, Haribo winegum mix, ripe peach, yeast, uncooked dough, clay, wet rocks and this kind of grassy/herbaceous touch in the background. A nice saline and mineral finish.

Disgorged 01/2021. Brut Nature. This was super natural in style and awkward from the get go. Not my preferred flavor profile (too natty) and too lean to provide any pleasure.

With l'il Rob Valentines Day Clean, clear, nutty, lemon Danish. Loads of mousse. Some bitter gooseberry notes. Medium finish. Pretty good value. I'd buy it again

Very impressive! Vinous, pickled and creamy at the same time. Great effort!

My first, Pinot Noir pure L’Aube, light, elegant, fine mousse, extremely young but delicious and seductive.
