Stunning how this is still kicking! The fruit is pretty much gone, but still enough going on to make this highly interesting. Strongly suggest folks try out the aging Beckman wines - they seem to have a very long shelf-life!

14.9% abv. From an "aged mystery 6-pack" purchased recently at the tasting room. This was pretty advanced, with a bit of an oxidative note. However, there was still some life left in this as the fruit showed through and it was very drinkable and enjoyable. Nice slightly creamy mouthfeel with pretty good depth and a good shot of acidity to keep things in balance. Not quite as good as a recent 2002 SYV Syrah or 2005 Purisima Clone 1 Syrah, but interesting and enjoyable.

Big fruit and grenache-y eucalyptus notes. Simple and good drinking. Some anise-y notes. Short finish. Just mostly fruit. Enjoyable enough to be just over PAR.

Syrah blend. Black fruit on nice with really nice black spice components. Fruit follows through on plate. Good structure and balance, a fun drink at $14, not over the top, well done.
