Sensational. This producer is far above average. The wine is young, but has a wonderful balance. Do not have excess alcohol or sweetness. It can be drunk now with no regrets

Damn pretty, this is less monolithic than 03/07/11, but that makes it great drinking now and over the next ten years +. Very complex and fresh, elegant.

Primary, nearly opaque, deep burgundy color. Raisins and grapey aromas. On the first night the entry was very soft, but this firmed up on night three. Somewhat gritty. A middleweight. No spirit. Dried raisins on the palate. This is a visceral wine. 84

Tobacco and strong weedy greeness which I really actually like. Hard, tannic and rather unopen right now. The grand idea here is that this is a single quinta, i.e., it all comes from the same vineyard and nothing is sourced. Spice and black pepper. Structure.
