A little less rounded and more linear than past bottles (although it opened and mellowed somewhat after an hour or two). I agree with @brianglas on this one - just not as interesting as past bottlings.

Pale gold. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. Had this with our oysters and tuna poke bowls tonight on the deck. Sometimes it is about the pairing, but that said this was more than a pleasant surprise on its own. Mark's always said this is his raw seafood wine, and it worked beautifully with no hint of falling off. The nose has dried grass, dried apple, citrus and slate minerality. On the palate, it comes off predominantly lemony, though there are apple and stone fruit nuances to go with that same slate minerality and dry extract that drives the finish. The notes on CT are not compelling, I have to say this really was nice wine tonight and one of the better St. I Pinot Blancs I've had in recent memory. 89+ to 90pts.

Very tasty. Almost waxy. Nice nectarine and white fruits but with perfectly balanced acidity. A touch flowery on the finish. Anonymous PG this isn't. A crowd pleaser that also has something for us snobs, and at ~$16 it's a really good value for drinking now.
