Massive wine, with ripe pineapple and vanilla custard waifing from the glass. The pineapple gushes onto the palate with lingering hints of ripe lemon and golden delicious apple on the finish. Any acid this wine would have (which would not be much considering how hot the vintage was) is gone. Drink now with a hefty plate of Russian pelminis dressed with savory white wine sauce.

Really nothing on the aromatics. Nothing to stand up and take notice of. Not a Chardonnay that is working for me. I decide to decant and leave for a while. Very rich. Fruit covered with cream. Too buttery. The acid is there trying to get through but it is getting squashed. I have another bottle that I am going to leave for 18-24 months. See where it goes. My first thought is this is sub par for Oregon Chard.

Light straw color. Nose of apricots, pears and wet river rock / minerals. Apples, dried apricots and violets with a creamy texture but nice acidity and a long finish. Very nice chard that I will definately buy again. Quite nice with crab cakes and salad.

Tasted June 16, 2007 at the winery. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of pears, yellow apples and lychee. Flavors of pears and yellow apples. Comes across as a little hot on the nose. Light to medium acidity and body. Drink over the short term. 14.0% alcohol.

Has aged well but should be drunk soon if you have any. Nice mouthfeel.
