I really liked this Barbera. I read the other reviews after forming my own view about the wine and some of the other reviews were quite different to my own view. I really liked this wine. It had quality fruit. A rich lovely character to the wine. Personally I would buy more if I could. It’s an excellent Barbera. It has a lingering palate of ripe fruit but it’s not overripe rather it’s rich. It is well rounded.

High acidity, not much fruit, pretty conventinal. Not a bad wine, but won’t buy again… Edit: better (warmer, deeper, fruitier, hint of tobacco and other piedmont classical notes) on day 2 and even better on day 3. Stores at 5 degC/closed with cork. Conclusion, needs cellar aging or heavy decant if consumed young. (No sediment)

Medium body, bright garnet to purple color. Intense red fruits, flowers and tobacco aroma. Sour cherry and plum palate following by juicy finish. Good barbera, easy drinking and well balanced, lovely acidity and silky tannins. Food friendly, enjoyable with Mediterranean salad and Tzfat cheese. Serve 16ºC - 20ºC. Open two hours ahead. Drink now while young and next four years.

Red too purple in the glas. Black currant, dark berries. Dry, nice fruit, and good acidety. Delicate tannins. Moderate mouth and a relatively short exit.

Decent and smooth Barbera. For salami-based pizza, it worked fine. Cold cherry juice, potato, marzipan, and light tobacco. Slightly loose and polished structure. Decent drinking wine with comfort food.
