At this point, light and soft, certainly unlike the image of a powerful Barolo. Yet quite nice and enjoyable. A Barolo in a more feminine style.
(5/20/2022) Lightly colored but highly perfumed. A fruit-forward, modern style that is drinking well now, tho some tannins in the finish indicate an even stronger future ahead. Good value!

Initial week received and opened. First impression was light color in glass. Almost see through tawny port look minus any bricking. Smell of red fruits, raspberries strawberries and hay. Palate is cut through same tart fruits but balanced. Level play. Drank with pizza topped with mushrooms and arugula. Good matchup. Bright acidity to cut through. Fine Lenten pairing.
