Definitely old world vs the Oyster Bay Sauv Blanc I had earlier. Interesting to have these back to back. Pear, stone and minerality. A touch sweet to be honest. A honey note as well. Could stand some more acidity.

Drank at Semilla in Paris. Agree with some of the prior tasting notes. Very agreeable Loire SB and terrific value. I got some white pear on the finish, which along with the balanced grassy and sub tropical notes, was a nice touch. Still seems a bit young would probably be better in another year or so. 91+

Philippe Gilbert does it again. A lovely wine, with silky texture. As I have found before with this wine, it seems more like Chenin than Sauvignon. Such a fun, basic bottling -- and a very fair value. If I can find them, I would love to try some of his upper tier whites.

Aromatic young wine with lovely floral elements, nice balance (not too acidic for a Sauvignon blanc), and a pleasant soft (but not complex) palate feel. This is lovely wine to share with your friends, especially if you want to make some new ones! Not complicated but very pleasant to quaff.

Lovely SB. On day 2 it was really nice, with some herbs and light citrus notes.
