Some Grilling with the Toronto Cru (Toronto, ON): This pours a moderate straw yellow. The nose is of matchstick, flint, stone, light honey, lemon and lime. The palate come across totally dry replaying honey, melon, citrus and stone. With good lemon/lime laden acid keeping things fresh. Didn't have a lot of Sauvignon Blanc typicity, I figured it was Chenin Blanc until I wrote up my notes.

Aromas and flavours of yellow pear, lemon and yellow plum. Incredibly well balanced. Very long midpalate and finish. What a stunning wine. Still youthful; should drink well through 2020.

This wine has kept its focus and freshness and displays a very floral nose and palate with citrus and a whiff of more exotic fruit like peach. There is also almonds in the mix. Outstanding wine.

I opened this with my friend Bob Henry who has a great opinion on all things wine. He loved it and stated he would match it against any fine Pinot and it would wine. We are going up to Williamette valley and he said I should put it in there to compare. Being that it was 23.00 a bottle a very good find.

A snappy mouthful of grapefruit rind and powerful quinine. Picked up some body and orange zest along the way. Very Sancerre-like. This got the juices flowing.
